Plans for the Downtown UCF Campus

Pamela S. Carroll is Dean of the College of Community Innovation and Education (CCIE).  The CCIE is also the college anchor of UCF’s new downtown campus. Dean Carroll was associate dean for academic affairs in the College of Education at Florida State University and a faculty member there for 21 years, also serving in various administrative roles, including department chair and program coordinator. Dean Carroll specializes in teacher education and adolescent and young-adult literature. She received her doctoral degree in education from Auburn University.

UCF Downtown, in partnership with Valencia College, will bring 7,700 students to live, learn and work in downtown Orlando, creating a game-changing campus in  the heart of our city.  Opened in August 2019, the project kick-starts Orlando’s $1 billion public-private Creative Village.  It will increase access for students, provide pathways into high-demand career fields, and foster collaboration with our neighbors in meaningful ways.

Guests most welcome, reservation required.
